Dry - golden in color, with a pleasant, baked nose and a dry, nutty taste. Sweet - deep gold in hue, with a creamy, cooked fragrance, a warm, mouth-filling taste and a lingering finish.
"Opici Marsala is a rich
amber colored wine that is produced in a semi-dry style. It is the perfect style to add flavor to chicken or veal Marsala. The flavor is pronounced
but it does not over-power the flavor of the food. While this Marsala is usually used for cooking
it is a delightful after dinner wine. Try sipping it at room temperature from a brandy snifter. You may also use it to create a delicious zabaglione served over fresh berries."
